today i'm feeling a little scattered, a little unfocused and VERY behind schedule.
nanowrimo, as i suspected is woefully off schedule. i didn't write anything fri/sat/sun, so i'm already about 5,000 words behind. today i will attempt to play catch up.
also, i have a pretty hefty to-do list for the upcoming week before my houseguest comes.
but you know me... i do my best work under pressure.
things i must do today:
call society about confirming my bday party there.
okay that's all i can think of right now.
either way, i have to start on this... get my work done first, then work on nanowrimo and then do the personal stuff.
and i'd also like to go to the gym at some point today.
busy day ahead.

i ate at society on friday and it blew my mutha fucking mind with awesome. so that's where we're going for my bday. if they can fit me in.if that goes to plans, send invites for bday party
i spoke with the bar manager and he was going to see what they could work out, as the private lounge has a buyout of more than i want to be responsible for ($5,000) and there is another party interested in it that night. so today i must follow up, so i can either make a plan b or send out the official email/facebook invite with info.
also, call my dad about getting me a hotel room (he has mad hookups) and call the spa, make my hair appointment and just hammer out the weekend plan in general. it's only about a month away now.call a lady about a fridge
my mom's friend is getting rid of a stainless steel LG fridge that's only 4 years old. *gush* i need it. we've measured and it'll fit. so now i just need to figure out how to get it home. i'm going to try craig's list i guess. see if there's somebody with a truck we can hire to move it for us.follow up with some potential clients that i've met with, but not heard back from.
but seriously, this is soooo exciting. our appliances work... but they're original. so about 14 years old. i want pretty and fancy. and this is a good first step. or second step i guess, since we already bought a new washer/dryer.
so still to come... a new stove and dishwasher. ...and then countertops and cabinets. because home renovations are never done. obviously.
this one's easy. send two emails you lazy fucker.start planning my friend's baby shower.
this is my top priority today.
step one - find a venue. today. otherwise we won't end up finding a place before xmas.nanowrimo.
like i said, i'm about 5,000 words behind. that's not good. i really want to do this and do it properly. i can't let myself get behind like this. i have to prioritize this and be diligent.promote my New Moon Party.
this novel will not write itself.
it's 10 days away. crunch time... i gotta get on this and pimp it out hardcore. if you work in media, and i know you, you're totally going to get harassed by me this week.

So, no Whistler then? That's a relief. I like the local and not having to drive in snow idea WAY better.

ya, no whistler.
some people were super jazzed about whistler... others were totally not down.
and getting the condos turned into a bit of an ordeal... and i didn't want to have a million deposits on my credit card and then have to collect money...
so now we're downtown.

we didn't make it to dessert... too much other food happening. but wow. FABULOUS eats there.
party is to be saturday december 12th.

i'm a little sad about no whistler, but it does help out with the finances about your bday being here. esp if it's downtown. i can crawl home!
i may not be able to get you the cake (or maybe i will), but you know i've got a bunch of twilight stuff for the party, may have to take a few things out for you as part of your gift!
